Panorama Amethyst Mine

This event is a day trip to the Amethyst Mine Panorama that perhaps many of you have visited over the years.

Meet at the Terry Fox Lookout by 8am for final instructions. Departure to mine is 8:30am.
There is a entrance fee of $10.00+tx payable at the mine. Amethyst you collect is $5.00+tx per pound.
Event Guides and Participants should use the Event Guide and Hiking Checklist to prepare in advance and identify Guides for the event.
Event difficulty: Easy
Event will proceed, Rain or Shine.
Event is a collecting event. Bring Clothing, Collecting Tools, Eye protection, gloves, good footwear.
Bring your own food and water.

Overview at previous General meeting to finalize numbers, who's going and answer any questions.
8am: Meet at Terry Fox Lookout. Quick meeting to determine cars, drivers and passengers. Alternate meetup is at the Flying J at Pearl for coffee if the Terry Fox Lookout is not open.
9:30am: Arrive at the Amethyst Mine Panorama. Please assemble at Amethyst Mine Main Office and pay your admission fee.
10:00am: Mine opens and tour starts.
12:00 noon or as permitted: Mine tour ends. Departure time back to Terry Fox Lookout.
1:00pm: Arrive back at Terry Fox Lookout.
