The trip will take place on Sunday, July 28th by 8:00am. We will leave at 8:00am sharp if everyone on the list (11 so far) is there or we will wait up to 15 minutes.

Please gather at the Canadian Tire parking lot in the Thunder Bay Mall site on west Arthur Street.

Please be there up to 30m early to discuss plans, arrange any carpooling. It is a long drive and we believe Hwy 588 is a paved road. Please consider car pooling and note that gas costs are shared. For those leaving a vehicle, getting dropped off or locking your car and leaving it there for the day is your choice. 

We will be going in the bush, so be prepared with:

• adequate food and water and any medicines you may require;

• appropriate clothing, rainwear, footwear, hat, insect repellent, and sunglasses;

• Your rock picking equipment: hammers, safety glasses, safety gloves, pails, bags, etc.

This is our first time going to these two sites.  We have received instructions and a map.  We know it is there – we just have to find the right spot.
