July 15, 20178: Iron Formation Beardmore Field Trip
A field trip to the Beardmore area to observe iron formations. The importance of these deformed, banded formations is that all the gold exploration and mining have occurred in these formations and that there may be many 10s of millions more ounces in these formations.
