The Thunder Bay Geology and Lapidary Club will be hosting a table at this event. We will have displays of local rocks and geology and will be able to identify any rocks you bring to the event.
Visit the LRCA Facebook page or LRCA homepage for more details.
This event was well attended, 500 people says LRCA staff in a followup email. We had several very interested people spend some time learning about geology, lapidary and jewellery aspects of the club.
There was strong interest in the TBPL's & Science North's Northern Nature Trading, particularly from several younger participants who also liked being able to pick and take away a small piece of amethyst collected earler this year at the Panorama Amethyst Mine and here is the link to that TBGLC event.
