The 8th annual Mining day, a premier event for the club, will be held Saturday, Jun 17, 2023 at the Thunder Bay Marina Park. The event is free with lots of great family activities and is always well attended

Mining Day was a great event and our display and children's crafting tables were busy the entire day. There were many interesting vendors from lithium and ring of fire projects as well as Ontario Geological Survey and Science North to name a few. There were many outside activities for families and children to explore and learn about the natural world.
